In response to the COVID-19 crisis, we are redirecting our grantmaking funds to address current needs and long-term challenges in the community. Read about phase two of our COVID-19 Response Grants to 19 nonprofits in Los Angeles and Israel. This latest round of grants builds upon $2.5 million awarded to 22 Los Angeles-area nonprofits to address vital needs. To date, The Foundation has awarded $5.5 million in grants to 41 nonprofits. The remaining dollars that are part of the second phase will be distributed in early 2021 on an invitation-only basis. The second phase of the COVID-19 Response Grants is now closed.
