In response to the COVID-19 crisis, we are redirecting our grantmaking funds to address current needs and long-term challenges in the community. The second phase of The Foundation’s pandemic related grants will be awarded on an invitation-only basis to Jewish nonprofits locally and in Israel. The second phase of the COVID-19 Response Grants is now closed.

The Foundation awards grants to support new and existing initiatives to strengthen our community. These include Cutting Edge Grants for transformative programs in the LA Jewish community, Israel Grants for economic development and Jewish identity, Next Stage Grants for capacity building, General Community Grants for a high-priority area of concern in LA, and Capital Grants for construction and renovation projects for Jewish institutions.
