Founded in 2008, The Braid (formerly Jewish Women’s Theatre) works to create new, relevant, and personal Jewish content performed in unconventional and changing locations.

To launch a new post-performance diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) curriculum for its show “True Colors.” The program aims to provide a safe and meaningful space to address racism and advance DEI in the Jewish community.
To create an artistic platform that connects millennials with their Judaism as they write, produce, direct, and perform original works of their generation for their generation using a Jewish lens.
