Description: 

Originally established in 1950 as the Hollywood-Los Feliz Jewish Community Center, the agency was renamed the Silverlake Independent Jewish Community Center (SIJCC) in 2002. SIJCC operates a multicultural and pluralistic nursery and kindergarten school, which promotes Jewish literacy and culture. SIJCC also provides weekly 'parent and me' classes, a Shabbat program, concerts, ballet, yoga, basketball, and fitness classes.
