Robert Avery is a finance professional with over 20 years of experience with manufacturing and nonprofit organizations, serving more than 10 years at executive levels. He finds the greatest reward in contributing his education and skills to human services organizations. Robert has experience managing budgets between $15 million and $1.5 billion. In past positions, he has expertly managed finance and administrative functions to help organizations fulfill their program missions, obtain clean audits, improve efficiency, better serve stakeholders, and enhance staff work experiences. Some of Robert’s achievements include overseeing clean audits for each of the reporting years in which he has been a CFO; policy development resulting in cost savings significant enough to fund new positions and across-the-board salary increases; and the implementation of financial and contracting systems which greatly improved operating efficiency and financial reporting. Robert earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wittenberg University and a master’s of business administration with an emphasis in management from Washington University in St. Louis. He is currently completing his second advanced degree, a master’s of science in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
