ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

GRANT PURPOSE

To promote and expand staff, invest in technology and maintenance to enhance operations of its new building, and increase its fundraising capacity, enabling Hillel 818 to engage more students in Jewish life and sustain its ambitious growth.

We are deeply grateful to the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles for selecting Hillel 818 as a Next Stage Grant recipient. The 6,000+ Jewish students enrolled at our campuses each year are incredible – they’re smart, they’re hard-working, and they’re deserving. They also face real challenges. This incredible opportunity will allow us to expand our staff and secure our operation, in order to reach more students than ever before with greater impact. With our brand new building now open, this grant represents a significant milestone in our journey to change the lives of Jewish college students throughout the San Fernando Valley.
