ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1978, ONEgeneration is a nonprofit located in the San Fernando Valley that offers a variety of programs and services for older adults, children and their families. Each year it provides comprehensive, wrap-around support to 8,000 underserved older adults in the form of free to low-cost adult daycare, medically supervised daycare for adults with disabilities, caregiver education and support, congregate dining, transportation services, home-based case management, home-delivered groceries and meals, mobile food distribution, kindship support for older adults caring for grandchildren, and homeless prevention and intervention support including housing placement, financial assistance, and benefits enrollment. ONEgeneration’s Senior Enrichment Center (OSEC) provides social engagement, disease prevention, healthy aging activities, and social services to 3,600 members, most of whom are low income.

To support the new Food Bank and Mobile Food Pantry site's capacity to serve 8,000 clients; to expand access to Adult Day Care including funds for those who do not qualify for MediCal and cannot afford to pay for services privately; and to expand Housing Navigation and Integrated Case Management to serve at least 40-50 additional clients who face housing instability, food insecurity, and insufficient access to health services.
