ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1996, Jovenes, Inc. provides opportunities to disenfranchised youth and families to become active and integrated members of the community. The organization seeks to inspire youth to set and achieve their goals while improving their self-esteem. Jovenes also works to empower and holistically address the broad range of needs faced by youth experiencing homelessness and to facilitate a healthy transition into independent adulthood.

The Financial Literacy Workshops provide a deeper level of financial education for youth, ages 18-24, who already receive housing and supportive services through Jovenes’ Continuum of Care program.
