Hamakom

Founded in 2023, HAMAKOM is a the newly merged congregation Shomrei Torah Synagogue and Temple Aliyah, which have been prominent in the west San Fernando Valley Jewish Community for over 60 years. HAMAKOM’s mission is to foster a warm and welcoming community for people of all backgrounds to explore Jewish life, traditions, and spirituality through innovative learning and engagement, while strengthening connections within and beyond Judaism.
