Anti-Defamation League Los Angeles
ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1913, Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is a leading anti-hate organization. Established in response to an escalating climate of antisemitism and bigotry, its mission is to protect Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment for all. Today, ADL continues to fight all forms of hate with the same vigor and passion, and is the first call when acts of antisemitism occur. A global leader in exposing extremism, delivering anti-bias education, and fighting hate online, ADL’s goal is a world in which no group or individual suffers from bias, discrimination, or hate.
ADL Los Angeles works with victims of antisemitism and stakeholders such as the LAPD, the mayor’s office, the LA County District Attorney’s Hate Crime Unit, the City Council, and its partners who make up LA for Good, a coalition of 25 local community organizations. It builds relationships with local communities, delivering anti-bias education through workshops, webinars, and trainings.
