With help from The Foundation, I was able to establish a philanthropic legacy for my client. My client wanted to establish a philanthropic legacy but was unclear about the best direction for his benefaction. I contacted the Center for Designed Philanthropy to see if they had any way to help my client focus and move forward with his intention. The Center’s experts met with my client and listened carefully as he talked about the things that mattered to him. They then suggested program possibilities that translated his values and concerns into funding options. My client’s response to the program ideas helped further clarify the approach that most closely resonated with his goals. I am gratified to say that, though this process, we were able to find a direction for this gentleman’s philanthropy that really touched his heart.
