Michael Ziering

Michael Ziering joins the Advisory Board of the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles with a distinguished career in business leadership and law. As the retired CEO of DPC, a leading medical device company formerly listed on the NYSE before its acquisition by Siemens, Michael brings deep expertise in corporate governance and strategic growth. Prior to serving as CEO, Michael held key leadership roles at DPC, including Vice President of Legal and President. Before transitioning to the corporate sector, Michael began his career as a Deputy Public Defender in Orange County.

A dedicated community leader, Michael currently serves on the board of American Jewish University and has previously held board positions with The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, The Saban Community Clinic, and LA Family Housing. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara and a J.D. from Loyola Law School.
