BIO
A classic Foundation ad headline says it all: “If you think earning money is hard, try giving it away.” It can sometimes be cumbersome and confusing. That’s where The Foundation comes in. We’ve been helping our clients give tzedakah more easily and more strategically for decades and will continue to do so long into the future!
As vice president of community relations, Lew is responsible for enhancing The Foundation’s presence in the community, fostering collaborations with nonprofits and raising more awareness of The Foundation and its services. This includes developing and executing strategies to increase The Foundation’s visibility among synagogues and grantee boards, ultimately creating more new fund growth opportunities. Prior to this role, Lew led The Foundation’s marketing, communications, advertising and publicity initiatives for many years, developing a distinct and contemporary Foundation brand image in the philanthropic marketplace. Before joining The Foundation, he spent 15 years in corporate marketing and advertising working for J. Walter Thompson Advertising and Experian, a credit and information services company. Lew graduated from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in political science and Judaic studies.
