Allen Zhang

Allen Zhang, CPA, brings more than 20 years of experience in finance leadership to his role as controller of The Foundation. Previously, Allen was the director of finance at the Milken Institute for 12 years and manager of finance and accounting for Blue Cross of California/WellPoint Inc/Anthem Inc. for 10 years. His expertise includes planning and budgeting, financial reporting and analysis, fund and investment management and accounting, and more. He holds a master’s degree in finance from California State University, Long Beach and an award in accounting from UCLA Extension. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University.

As a finance professional, wealth management is in my blood. At The Foundation, I am able to utilize my expertise in managing more than 1,500 donor funds and connecting philanthropic resources with people in need to make the world a better place.
