55 Security Grants Awarded in Los Angeles

Our Jewish community has been facing unprecedented antisemitism, violent demonstrations, and worrying acts of aggression, which have required a rapid and comprehensive response.

The Foundation, in a unique and unprecedented partnership with JFEDLA and the Tepper Foundation, has therefore directed $1.3 million to improve security measures at Jewish institutions across Los Angeles that serve children. Informed by our shared Jewish value of Pikuach Nefesh (saving a life), we are safeguarding Jewish lives, preserving and protecting our institutions, and fostering safe Jewish environments where we can practice our beloved religion and celebrate our tradition openly and fearlessly.
