$1M in Hardship Relief Grants
In 2024, the Jewish Community Foundation launched a Hardship Relief Fund to provide vetted organizations with funding for urgent, one-time financial assistance to individuals and families facing significant financial obstacles. The Foundation directed $1 million of endowment funds towards these grants, awarded to 30 nonprofits in Los Angeles to address critical needs such as food insecurity, housing instability, and essential healthcare costs. By partnering with trusted community organizations, we ensure that funds reach those most in need at their most critical moments.
The Hardship Relief Fund reflects our commitment to having a greater and more immediate impact, helping vulnerable individuals regain stability and dignity. By directly alleviating hardship, The Foundation demonstrates how generosity fuels transformative change.
