The Foundation’s EIN is 95-6111928 and welcomes contributions of any size.

Receipts will be issued for all contributions.
Contributions to The Foundation qualify for the maximum tax deduction permitted by law.
Your contributions to The Foundation are irrevocable, and The Foundation retains exclusive control over the contributed assets.

Donate Publicly Traded Securities

Before transferring publicly traded securities, please notify Cynthia Jones, Investment Accountant, at 323-761-8728 or CJones@jewishfoundationla.org with the stock name(s), number of shares, and the fund(s) to which the contribution should be allocated. This helps ensure your contribution is credited promptly and accurately.

Please provide our Stock Transfer Instructions to your broker or financial institution before initiating the transfer. Some institutions may require their own forms, so please check with your broker or financial institution directly.

Contribute Complex Assets

Transfers from Another Donor Advised Fund

If you have a donor advised fund at another institution, you can transfer assets from that fund to a DAF with The Foundation. You will need to initiate the transfer through your current DAF provider.

Please ask your provider to recommend a grant using the following information:

Private family foundations may contribute to funds at The Foundation in a variety of ways, including by check, ACH, wire transfer, publicly traded securities, and other assets.
