ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

USC Hillel is an important support system and point of entry into Jewish life for young adults at USC. Through its innovative mental health programming, it has continued to ensure students have resources to connect and engage in Jewish life throughout the pandemic.

GRANT PURPOSE

To mitigate the economic hardship resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and to help them achieve long-term organizational sustainability.

With The Foundation's support, USC Hillel is able to provide comprehensive support to a community of 2,000 Jewish undergraduate students, like Emily: 'USC can be overwhelming, Hillel makes this giant campus feel small and makes me feel important. The students and the staff genuinely care for each other and provide programming that allows students to connect with and grow their Jewish community. Hillel was there for me before I even knew I needed them.'
