ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

Established in 1924, Temple Beth Israel of Highland Park and Eagle Rock is a non-denominational community. It provides a vibrant center for Judaism on Los Angeles’s East Side. It operates a Sunday school.

GRANT PURPOSE

To support professional development, leadership development, and staff wellness strategies responding to the impacts of COVID-19 on synagogue clergy, staff, and lay leadership.

The Foundation's support means we can help our staff and volunteers recover from the psychological stressors of the pandemic. After almost two years of giving their all, they will be able to replenish their energies and renew their relationships face-to-face thanks to the Reimagine Grant.
