ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

Established in 1935, Temple Beth Am is a Conservative synagogue located in Pico-Robertson. It celebrates traditional and innovative Judaism and inspires lifelong learning in a warm, embracing community. It operates a religious school, early childhood center, and a day school.

GRANT PURPOSE

To support professional development, leadership development, and staff wellness strategies responding to the impacts of COVID-19 on synagogue clergy, staff, and lay leadership.

This grant will help thrust Beth Am, a venerable and mighty “legacy synagogue,” towards a nimble, forward-thinking, digitally-engaged reality, allowing us to share content and our special communal spirit with innumerable Jews, both within LA and beyond.
