ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Founded in 2007, Olim Beyahad aims to increase the employment rate among Ethiopian Israeli university graduates by promoting their integration into the forefront of Israel’s workforce and providing equal opportunities for employment. In recent years, Olim Beyahad’s scope has expanded to include internship opportunities and entrepreneurship training for Ethiopian Israeli youth. Olim Beyahad serves more than 1,400 Ethiopian Israeli youth and young adults each year, through a network of more than 1,000 employers and more than 2,000 volunteers.
GRANT PURPOSE
To mitigate the economic hardships faced by The Foundation’s grantees in Israel, resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, and to help them achieve long-term organizational sustainability.
