Founded in 1911 and based on Jewish values, The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles convenes and leads the community and leverages its resources to assure the continuity of the Jewish people, support a secure State of Israel, care for Jews in need here and abroad, and mobilize on issues of concern to the local community, all with its local, national, and international partners.

Grant Purpose: 

The Los Angeles Jewish Abilities Center enhances quality of life for hundreds of adults with special needs through a unique collaborative that will develop and coordinate innovative resources and programs.

The Jewish Federation is thrilled to partner with The Foundation on this program, which will make a profound difference in the lives of hundreds of Jewish adults with special needs and their families in Los Angeles.
