ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

Los Angeles Brotherhood Crusade is a longtime grassroots nonprofit based in South Los Angeles, focuses on addressing the unmet needs of low-income, underserved, under-represented, and disenfranchised individuals through initiatives such as its Youth Development Program which provides comprehensive services – mentorship, gang prevention, educational support, and career readiness – for at-risk youth and students.

GRANT PURPOSE

To provide support for direct service work addressing racial equity.

The Brotherhood Crusade is very appreciative of  the support provided by the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles.  This grant will help us continue impacting youth in South Los Angeles by providing technical assistance, life skill classes, enrichment programs and career pathways that can result in sustainable earning jobs, careers and continuing education.
