ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

Founded in 1911, The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles convenes and leads the community and leverages its resources to assure the continuity of the Jewish people, support a secure State of Israel, care for Jews in need in LA and abroad, and mobilize on issues of concern to the local community, all with its local, national, and international partners.

GRANT PURPOSE

To launch an initiative, which includes individual and group therapy, mental health counseling through technology and peer-to-peer support, spiritual practice and Jewish teachings, strategic partnerships with Hillels, and referrals to additional resources. The program aims to help young Jewish adults feel less isolated, learn strategies for coping with challenges, and gain a deeper understanding of Jewish values as a source of resilience.
