ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

Founded in 1993, ETTA’s mission is to provide programs and services that enable people with disabilities and their families to live enriched, independent, and active lives. It serves 175 clients daily (majority Jewish) with wraparound services that include residential housing, case management, educational and social services, and employment training and placement.

GRANT PURPOSE

To launch a virtual platform that will offer creative, interactive, and engaging skills-building and social programming for individuals with disabilities. The program will help clients build skills and fill their afternoon and evenings with activities, thereby promoting increased joy and decreased isolation.

Thanks to the generous support of The Foundation, we are thrilled to announce plans to build ETTA TV – a first-of-its-kind platform with programming designed specifically for and about teens and adults with special needs. ETTA TV will provide substantive, educational, and entertaining support to hundreds of participants—with 50,000 additional hours of live support (100 participants x 2 hours x 5 days x 50 weeks) in the first year alone.
