ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1937, Builders of Jewish Education (BJE) connects tens of thousands of families and children to a broad range of Jewish educational opportunities and works closely with over 140 Jewish schools across Los Angeles to strengthen educational programs. In addition, it operates the largest March of the Living program in the United States with over 200 participants a year and runs a service-learning program for teens.
GRANT PURPOSE
To train and certify educators and professionals at Los Angeles Jewish schools in Positive Education, an education framework that promotes student, staff, and community wellbeing. The program aims to strengthen the well-being of educators and create a culture of wellness in Los Angeles Jewish schools.
