ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Founded in 2000, Appleseeds Academy works to close the digital divide through technological programs, vocational training, and job placement. Appleseeds Academy operates 18 Community Knowledge Centers throughout Israel’s geographic and social peripheries to provide targeted programs to youth, women, older adults, low-income individuals, and other underserved populations.
GRANT PURPOSE
To mitigate the economic hardships faced by The Foundation’s grantees in Israel, resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, and to help them achieve long-term organizational sustainability.
