ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

Anti-Recidivism Coalition works to end mass incarceration and reduce recidivism rates in California through justice-reform advocacy, re-entry support, mentoring, counseling, housing, and its career-development training and partnerships, as one of the most difficult parts of re-entering the community is access to work.

GRANT PURPOSE

To provide support for direct service work addressing racial equity.

The Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC) is a proud recipient of a grant from the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles. Support from The Foundation will help bridge the gap between formerly incarcerated communities and the resources needed to acquire and maintain fulfilling and family-supporting jobs. The Career Development Program will help our community members achieve more than stability: we empower them to achieve personal transformation and reach their most aspirational career goals.
