ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1940, Hillel at UCLA is a home away from home, at UCLA, for Jewish students to build their identities through Jewish life, learning, culture, and leadership opportunities. It is the center of Jewish life on campus, creating meaningful Jewish experiences and opportunities for students to embrace Judaism – now and for a lifetime. It reaches roughly 1,800 of the 3,000 Jewish students at UCLA, more than 3,000 non-student community members, and empowers 110 student leaders.
GRANT PURPOSE
To safeguard Jewish lives, preserve and protect our institutions, and foster safe Jewish environments.
