2024 Human Capital Support Grant

Founded in 2002, JIMENA educates and engages students and adults about the heritage, histories, and rights of Jewish refugees from the Middle East and North Africa and their Mizrahi and Sephardic descendants. JIMENA operates education, engagement, and leadership development initiatives for Sephardic and Mizrahi Jewish communities, and hosts campaigns to combat antisemitism and advocate for the safeguarding of Jewish cultural property. Since 2020 it has reached over 300,000 individuals annually, including 5,000 people from LA.
