Founded in 2013 and housed in LA’s oldest synagogue, Pico Union Project (PUP) is a vibrant cultural center that builds community health, resilience, and vitality. It provides the under-resourced community in the Pico Union neighborhood with direct healthcare services, mental health programs, access to free and fresh food, classes, neighborhood beautification, and opportunities for meaningful, paid work.
