ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1978, The Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF) provides culturally responsive services to Asian and Pacific Islander survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and related forms of violence. Its programs include a 24-hour multilingual helpline in 30 languages, emergency and transitional shelter, and community engagement and violence prevention programs. Annually, CPAF receives over 3,000 calls and serves 1,800 individuals over its helpline and provides safe shelter to 110 survivors and their children.
GRANT PURPOSE
To provide one-time direct hardship relief that will help stabilize individuals and families during a time of crisis or need, substantially improving their self-sufficiency and quality of life.
