ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Founded in 2013, Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC) empowers formerly incarcerated people to thrive by providing a support network, comprehensive reentry services, and opportunities to advocate for a more equitable justice system. To achieve its mission, it leads a rehabilitative program and reentry planning inside every prison in California; offers reentry services to people coming home including job development, transitional housing, and therapy; and advances efforts to reform the criminal legal system. Across its programs, ARC serves over 10,000 people annually.
GRANT PURPOSE
To provide one-time direct hardship relief that will help stabilize individuals and families during a time of crisis or need, substantially improving their self-sufficiency and quality of life.
