ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1993, A Place Called Home (APCH) is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for young people in South Central LA. They offer comprehensive programs in arts, education, and wellness to empower youth and help them reach their full potential. APCH offers a zero-cost membership model that annually serves over 750 youth plus their family and community members. It’s 32,000 square foot youth and community center is home to first-rate facilities including an athletic field, commercial kitchen, garden, dance studio, recording studio, counseling wing, and theater.
GRANT PURPOSE
To provide one-time direct hardship relief that will help stabilize individuals and families during a time of crisis or need, substantially improving their self-sufficiency and quality of life.
