ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1969, Los Angeles LGBT Center (The Center) provides comprehensive services and programs to the LGBTQ+ community in LA, focusing on health, social services, advocacy, and cultural enrichment. The Center main programs include a Federally Qualified Health Clinic as well as housing and social services for LGBTQ+ youth and seniors experiencing homelessness. It serves of 35,000 LGBT+ youth and adults annually across 10 sites in LA County.
GRANT PURPOSE
To provide one-time direct hardship relief that will help stabilize individuals and families during a time of crisis or need, substantially improving their self-sufficiency and quality of life.
