ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
GRANT PURPOSE
The Forum’s efforts to publicize the plight of the hostages includes:
- PR efforts: campaigns in 30 cities around the world, including billboards of the missing in Times Square, full-page ads in international newspapers, social media content, and media appeals in 11 languages.
- Diplomatic pressure: Advocating to the United States, Europe, Qatar, Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia to maintain international pressure to release the hostages.
Support to abductees: Maintaining a medical database with abductees’ medical information, and coordinating with the International Red Cross to meet their needs if/when released.
