ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

The Jewish New Teacher Project (JNTP), a division of the New Teacher Center, provides proven educational services to Jewish day schools. JNTP was founded in 2002 in partnership with the AVI CHAI Foundation in response to research that showed that schools struggled with high teacher attrition rates and a lack of resources for in-school professional development. JNTP’s national headquarters are in New York City, with satellite program hubs in Baltimore, Chicago, and Miami. In 2020-2021, JNTP is working with 63 schools, 94 mentors, and 121 new teachers representing the full range of Jewish life in North America today.
