Founded in 1971, Meet Each Need with Dignity (MEND) is the largest poverty agency serving tens of thousands of the neediest children and families of the San Fernando Valley per month. Â Primarily volunteer-driven, it provides emergency food, clothing, health care, job skills training and placement and other services.Â
