ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Founded in 2015, Jewish Los Angeles Special Needs Trust provides pooled special needs trust and benefits counseling services for children and adults with disabilities, protecting their public benefits while allowing them to receive or inherit funds from family to enhance their lives. It also provides community education and individualized financial and benefits counseling to families with relatives with disabilities. To date it has served over 225 clients and distributed over $13 million to support beneficiaries.

To advance staff wellbeing, talent development, and/or healthy, inclusive team culture
To increase its capacity to recruit and enroll clients and become self-sustaining, by hiring a full-time Marketing and Communications Coordinator, creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing and recruitment plan, building its referral network, and redesigning its website.
Jewish Los Angeles Special Needs Trust & Services is the first pooled special needs trust in Los Angeles County, enrolling at least 65 participants over 3 years and ensuring that Jews and others in the general community with disabilities are able to obtain the highest quality of life by leveraging the power of community to assist with financial security.
