ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

Founded in 1944, Jewish Council of Public Affairs (JCPA) has served as the national convener of Jewish Community Relations Councils (JCRCs) working to build a just and inclusive democracy—bringing together national and local partners to address issues of vital concern: securing Jewish Americans’ safety and future by actively engaging in American public life, working in common cause with other communities, and giving voice to Jewish values of fairness and justice. JCPA’s mission is to mobilize the robust community relations network and its partners in pursuit of a more just and democratic society for all, rooted in an abiding belief that Jewish security here and abroad is tied to the health of our democracy and strong relationships between communities.
