Bio

Lisa Korbatov served as president of the Beverly Hills Unified School District Board of Education from Dec. 2011 to Dec. 2012, and is currently a governing board member with plans to run for re-election in November 2013. She has been an owner/partner at The Amalgamated Real Estate Services, a commercial real estate management services company specializing in retail, industrial and manufacturing space for garment related businesses, since 1996. She is a member of the Santee-Maple Alley Association and the Downtown Property Owners Association. Ms. Korbatov earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. She serves on The Foundation’s Israel Grants Committee, the board of the Jewish Education Trade Schools (JETS) in Granada Hills and has previously served on several boards in the community, including the board of USC Hillel. She is a Senate Club member of AIPAC and has been politically active in pro-Israel advocacy for over 20 years. Lisa is married to Igor Korbatov, Esq. and they have three daughters.
