Grant Purpose: 

The Quest for Transformational Jewish Art provides LA and Israeli Jewish artists with artist-in-residence and retreat opportunities, organizes Jewish art exhibitions, and creates art events that engage the public, scholars, and cultural commentators in dialogue about Jewish identity and culture. 

Description: 

Founded in 2004, Jewish Artists Initiative is an artist-run organization committed to fostering visual art by Jewish artists and promoting dialogue about Jewish identity and related issues among members of the arts community.
