Honeymoon Israel Los Angeles engages youth couples, primarily interfaith, LGBTQ, and those on the outskirts of Jewish life through social, educational, and cultural programming designed to foster a positive connection to Judaism and a desire to raise a Jewish family.

Description:

Founded in 2014, Honeymoon Israel provides immersive trips to Israel for locally based cohorts of couples that have at least one Jewish partner, early in their committed relationship, creating communities of couples who are building families with deep and meaningful connecting to Jewish life and the Jewish people.

Grant Quote:

"Thanks to The Foundation, Honeymoon Israel will now be able to deepen its support for newly married couples who have struggled to find a place where they fit in within the Jewish community. Couples from diverse backgrounds (including those who are interfaith and LGBT) will now have the opportunity to find others like themselves and build supportive networks with each other and the larger Jewish community.”
