The Jewish Community Foundation, overseeing charitable assets of $700 million dollars, is dedicated to enhancing the scope and effectiveness of our donors' philanthropy, in both the Jewish community and the community at large.
To date, 1,200 donors have partnered with The Foundation to fulfill their particular charitable vision, while also addressing their financial, tax, and estate planning needs and ensuring that loved ones are provided for.
With a wealth of experience that dates to our founding in 1954, we help donors build family legacies by establishing funds that will continue to support their favorite causes in perpetuity.
We offer a high degree of professionalism, expertise and personal attention, and call on more than five decades of charitable gift planning experience to help donors achieve their financial and philanthropic goals. We provide flexibility and variety in planned giving options. We also make it possible for donors to create income for their retirement, or for loved ones after they're gone.
The Foundation works in collaboration with a wide range of community organizations, including The Jewish Federation and its agencies. And our Family Foundation Center helps maximize the charitable impact of family foundations by providing education, consultation, grantmaking assistance, and networking opportunities.
While we're helping donors, we're also helping the community. Year in and year out, through our Legacy Grants program, The Foundation seeds new and innovative programs and strategic initiatives in greater Los Angeles, supports the capital needs of Jewish institutions, and provides relief assistance during emergencies.
