Bertrand I. Ginsberg is a principal and financial advisor of Bernstein Global Wealth Management, a unit of Alliance Capital Management, L.P. He first became involved with The Foundation in 1982 as a member of its Advisory Board, and subsequently became a trustee in 1984, assistant treasurer in 1993 and treasurer in 1994. Since 1997 he has been chair of the Charitable Gift Annuity Committee. He currently serves on The Foundation's Audit & Finance, Board Development and Executive Committees. He was formerly the senior tax partner and western region director of tax practice for Ernst & Young's Los Angeles office. He has extensive experience in income and estate tax planning and corporate tax matters. Mr. Ginsberg earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's of business administration degree from UCLA. He serves on the boards of several charitable organizations, including the UCLA Foundation.
