Senior Vice President, Philanthropic Services
In 2007, Dan Rothblatt joined The Foundation in this newly created role to oversee and coordinate all of the philanthropic services offered by The Foundation. He has a broad range of experience in the areas of annual, endowment and capital campaigns, major gifts, planned giving, campaign management, budgeting and planning. Prior to joining The Foundation, Rothblatt served as deputy director for development at the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association. Previously he worked as vice president of development at American Jewish University, American Jewish Committee, Jewish Federation of Los Angeles and at the Northridge Hospital Foundation. He earned his bachelor's degree in design and industry from San Francisco State University. He then went on to earn a master's degree in social work from the University of Southern California and a master's degree in Jewish communal service from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. He has served as a consultant to non-profit organizations throughout Los Angeles, published articles about planned giving, and served as a member of the faculty of the American Jewish University graduate and extension programs.
