Cathy Siegel Weiss became a trustee of The Foundation in 1994 and is the immediate past chair of The Foundation. Mrs. Siegel Weiss serves as co-chair of the Investment Committee, chair of the Center for Designed Philanthropy Advisory Committee, and has served as co-chair of the Marketing Committee. She is extensively involved in the Jewish civic and political arenas. Mrs. Siegel Weiss is currently serving as vice chair of Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Television Network and is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. As the first woman president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), Mrs. Siegel Weiss was chair of AJC's National Advocacy Task Force and sat on the Board of Trustees of the Center for Early Education and the NOW Legal Defense & Education Fund Advisory Committee. She has also been co-chair of the Jewish Community Relations Committee's Commission on the Middle East. She has served as a member of the Hebrew Union College Board of Overseers, the Beverly Hills Education Foundation, the Los Angeles City Human Relations Commission, the UCLA Chancellor's Community Advisory Commission and the Los Angeles Coalition of 100 Steering Committee. She earned her bachelor's degree from Stanford University and her law degree from Hastings Law School. She is a member of the State Bar of California. Mrs. Siegel Weiss lives in Beverly Hills with her husband and two daughters.
