Karen Sandler has worked at Price Waterhouse, Security Pacific Bank and The Foothill Group Inc. where for over a decade she specialized in bank loan investments, distressed debt and reorganizations. While currently retired, she serves on the Drawings Committee at MOCA, and on the Today and Tomorrow's Children's Fund at the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, directing grants to advance pediatric research. She and her husband, Nathan, sponsor the Rabbinical Scholarship at American Jewish University and are active with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC). They have led two JDC family missions, one to the former Soviet Union and the other to Cuba. Ms. Sandler received her undergraduate degree from Lehigh University and earned an MBA from Columbia University. She resides in Brentwood with her husband and their two children.
